Malaya - comprised of states of Malay Peninsular and Singapore which were under
British control between the 18th and the 20th centuries. Being world's largest Tin producer, she was one of the
most lucrative territories of British Empire.
On 16 September 1963, federation of Malaysia was formed with the inclusion of
northern Borneo states of Sabah, Sarawak and island of Singapore.
Yellow = Federated Malay states
Blue = The unfederated Malay states
