East Coast Rail Link
ECRL – East Coast Rail Link is the government’s initiative for efficient national infrastructure as well as connecting towns and upgrading public transport in the rural areas, namely Kelantan, Terengganu and Pahang in the east coast, Negeri Sembilan, Selangor and Federal Territory Putrajaya in the west coast of Peninsular Malaysia.
While it is part of China’s Belt and Road Initiative, it is also part of The Pan-Asia Railway Network. ECRL connects Bangkok, Kunming, Vientiane and Singapore via HSR.
