Farm Fresh’s Largest Dairy Plant is Located in Taiping

The brand Farm Fresh is certainly no stranger to consumers.

However, not many are aware that one of the leading dairy companies’ key  plants is located in Pondok Tanjung, Selama, Taiping.

The farm is home to 4,000 dairy cows that supply fresh  milk for the Northern Zone market of Peninsular Malaysia.Produk Malaysia

The facility employs 70 workers, with 80% of them being residents — a feat that not only highlights local talent but also drives the area’s economic growth by creating job opportunities.

Apart from producing fresh milk, the plant also processes high-quality ice cream products for nationwide distribution, showcasing the capability of local companies to penetrate a wider dairy market.

Farm Fresh is seen as not only a commercial success but also a contributor to agro-industrial development through a sustainable value chain.

Earlier, a visit to the facility was conducted by Perak State Executive Councillor for Rural Development, Plantations, Agriculture and Food Industry, Dato’ Zolkafly Harun.Pelancongan Perak

The visit, led by the State Veterinary Services Department, aimed to gain deeper insights into the farm and dairy plant operations managed by Farm Fresh, covering various aspects from livestock management to milk processing.
